Although Mark has spent most of his career working in the private industry, he has found that the last years of working in philanthropy have been the most rewarding and fulfilling. Mark started with us in 2015 and he could not be more excited and thankful to join us in the work we do. He feels blessed every day to see the positive impact we have in Colorado communities.
In his current role, Mark leads and supports our staff to ensure that we are efficiently and effectively using the most up-to-date technology to achieve the best results in Colorado communities. Mark’s drive to help us successfully achieve these results stems from the fact that he feels a personal connection to our mission: His family is part of the community we serve, so he feels it is his personal responsibility to make a difference and improve the health of Coloradans through collaboration.
Unquestionably, he also helps us achieve this success with his positive attitude and his ability to quickly adapt to change. Mark is optimistic and believes that every day he works here is a highlight. His colleagues would universally agree. Mark brings his good-natured sense of humor and authentic desire to connect with others to every interaction.
Although Mark would love to spend all of his time making a difference at the Foundation, his number one priority is his family. Mark’s true accomplishment and fulfillment comes from spending quality time with his family and creating new memories with them. To him, there is nothing more rewarding.
In addition to his personal time, Mark enjoys both coaching and playing baseball and basketball. Mark has coached youth sports for the last 10 years, which include his daughter’s teams. When he is surrounded by his family, his faith, and his community, life is good.
