Sophie’s time at the Foundation has affirmed her commitment to mission-driven work. She feels honored to have the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of Coloradans. Born in France, Sophie brings a unique perspective to the health challenges we face in the United States. She strongly believes in health equity — that no matter your social or economic status, you should have access to health care.
Sophie has lived in Colorado for eight years and has been part of the Foundation’s Community Investment & Impact team since 2015, where her role is multifaceted. Her goal is to support team members so that they are able to be responsive and efficient when working with communities and organizations across the state. Knowing that she has a part in making a difference is what gets her up in the morning.
One of the high points of Sophie’s work at the Foundation was participating in the Colorado Health Symposium, where she was inspired and humbled by the dedication and passion of both the speakers and the attendees. Getting out on the ground in Colorado, whether on a site visit or at a special event, connects the dots for her and underscores her connection to our mission.
Sophie cultivates her own healthy habits outside of work, which include yoga, clean eating and running in the park with her baby daughter in tow. She loves the outdoors and the beauty of Colorado. The Maroon Bells are one of her favorite hiking spots. This film school grad will also happily offer recommendations for your next Netflix binge. Right now, “Z: The Beginning of Everything” and “Transparent” are at the top of her list. Life is great when Sophie is with her family, traveling to a beachy destination or simply enjoying the happiness of being a new mom.
