Aron Wahkinney

Aron has worked at the intersection of social change and process equity for years. His work in grants management started in his community as a member of the Comanche Nation. As he worked with tribal youth, he saw the impact dollars could make on the lives of those he worked with. He moved into managing budgets and using the aid to develop programs, and since then, he has worked as a grants and project manager.

Carly Hare

Carly (Pawnee/Yankton) comes to the Foundation after nearly two decades of work in philanthropy using her collective and community-driven understandings of the world in a professional capacity. Her experience growing up in a tribal community inspired her to center community and explore otherness and belonging while living into her Pawnee name, <i kita u hoo <i ]a hiks- kind leader of people- to impact philanthropic sector shifts.

Lauren Morales

Lauren’s early career experiences as an educator and social worker laid the groundwork for her journey to the Foundation. The deep connections she formed with the children and families she worked with sparked her interest in public policy as a vehicle for social change and as a way to improve people’s day to day lives.

Sharif Watson

Sharif’s journey toward technology began with the hope of becoming a Naval aviator, as he has a strong passion for aviation. When that ambitious goal didn’t become a reality, he turned his attention to something else he’d always been interested in: technology. This interest became a passion as Sharif developed his skills and ultimately began working with organizations to help them create and scale new technology systems to power their work.
