Celebrating Nonprofits Committed to Equity and Justice

Each year, staff at The Colorado Health Foundation nominate and vote for nonprofit organizations to receive an end-of-year gift. This year, we are pleased to announce Cobbled Streets, Colorado Native Outreach Project, and the Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont (A-PAL) each received a $10,000 donation.

Cobbled Streets works to provide kids in foster and kinship care with positive, individualized experiences to build healthy senses of well-being that help mitigate the impacts of trauma and adversity.

Colorado Native Outreach Project provides aid and care to unhoused community members and to Indigenous communities by distributing items like water, hygiene supplies, food, and diapers.

The Asian-Pacific Association of Longmont (A-PAL) promotes diversity and bridges cultural gaps in their community by developing and hosting educational, artistic, and performance programs throughout Longmont in partnership with the City of Longmont, St. Vrain Valley Schools, local businesses, and other nonprofit organizations.

Now, more than ever, The Colorado Health Foundation stands strong alongside Colorado’s vital nonprofit organizations. On behalf of the staff and Board, we thank each of these organizations for the critical work they do to make our state a better, healthier, more equitable place to live.
