Our application process includes several steps you must complete before beginning an application. All applications can be accessed on specific funding pages. Proposals must be received midnight on the deadline date. When these dates fall on a holiday or weekend, the deadline will be the next business day. You may submit an application at any time and it will be reviewed at the next grant cycle.
To begin:

- Contact a program officer if you want to discuss your project before beginning the online application process
- Begin your application through selected open funding.
- Save and submit your application
- After applying, we invite you to provide anonymous feedback through GrantAdvisor on how you’ve experienced us as a funder and partner.
We prefer to receive electronic grant applications through our website. Using a series of prompts, the online grant application form will guide you through the submission process in detail. If you cannot complete an online application, please contact our grantmaking department at 303-953-3600 to make arrangements for an alternative submission.
We often partner with third-party evaluators, contractors and other organizations over the course of our work with applicants and grantees. Your application and its attachments may be shared with these individuals or entities during the review process and grant cycle. All third-party organizations partnering with the Foundation have signed a confidentiality agreement and will not use or share the information for purposes outside of the scope of work specific to the grant application or grant award.
