Home Visiting Public Policy Support

Support public policy and education efforts to promote health equity for low-income, diverse families through early childhood home visitation programs using a two-generation approach which increases parent education and empowerment, and is a key component in breaking the cycle of poverty. Home visiting is an evidence-based strategy resulting in healthier parents and babies, improved school readiness, safer homes, and increased self-sufficiency for participating families.
