West Park Elementary Play Yard

Renovate and revitalize the West Park Elementary (WPE) play yard and open it to the public during non school hours. The new play yard, located in the heart of the West Park Subdivision neighborhood which includes a large high-density housing development, will increase the number of under served youth who have convenient access to a high quality playground, increase the number of K-2nd graders who engage in moderate or vigorous physical activity during school hours, and serve as a source of community and school pride.
