Project Description
The Colorado Parents for Healthy Kids program will activate parents statewide in making transformative school wellness improvements over the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school years. In collaboration with Colorado PTA and multiple partners working with parent constituents across Colorado, Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) will provide a three-tiered system of technical support that advances health equity, recognizes differentiated needs, and helps schools meet their educational goals.
