CHTA: Movement & Wellness

This proposal uses youth mentorship and creativity to address systematic inequalities and impacts of the pandemic that manifest as physical health disparities for BIPOC/LGBTQ communities. Our intergenerational cohorts strengthen relationships to support wellbeing while our youth sessions explore culturally relevant forms of physical activity/nutrition like yoga, somatic coping, dance and culinary arts to address self-esteem, social connection and positive associations with body image/identity.
