303 ArtWay Heritage Trail: Interactive Placekeeping

Increase safety and mobility for Northeast Park Hill residents while maintaining the culture and history of the neighborhood through the 303 ArtWay. Build off the Corridor Study and recent small-scale improvements to reimagine Holly Square and its surrounding connections as an interactive hub for multiple generations. Through redesigning these spaces elevate local cultural capital to create an equitable, healthy and vibrant future for all.

Resilient Playgrounds at Chipeta Elementary

Increase use and access to the play areas at Chipeta Elementary year-round by increasing shade, improving existing playground structures, augmenting play equipment, installing durable turf in the play area and providing access to drinking water outside.

Mile High Body Positive

Increase equitable access to physical activity, improve physical wellness and healthy eating, promote positive psychosocial assets for students through the addition of Body Positive training and the totality of our Health & Wellness programming.

Implementation Grant for Playground, Learning Garden, Outdoor Plaza Maker Space and Family Civic Plaza at New North Boulder Library Branch

Build key outdoor elements of a long-awaited library in north Boulder, which were requested by the surrounding community through an extensive engagement process. The community has requested a Playground, Learning Garden, Outdoor Plaza Maker Space and Family Civic Plaza. It was intended that these elements be included in overall construction of the library building, however, the outdoor elements were cut in order to compensate for escalating construction costs.

Chafee County Mobile Health Clinic (Chaffee Community Clinic)

Sustain the free mobile health clinic and its staff which includes behavioral health navigators. CCC strives to reduce the barriers to healthcare that low socioeconomic status populations and neighborhoods, people who experience housing insecurity and those who live with substance use, addiction and recovery encounter so that they can access the services and supports they need to thrive in health and wellness.

General Operating Support

Support for general clinic operations including the opening of the newly constructed health center at 48th and Vine in the Globeville/Elyria/Swansea neighborhood in early 2023, expanding services and supports to this marginalized and underserved community.

Elevate Alliance for Children and Youth in Northeast Denver

Mobilize the northeast Denver community to drive a development process that will result in resources for children and youth development programming in the northeast and far northeast Denver communities. By building on assets that already exist in northeast Denver, especially for our children and youth, it is our desire to design a space that meets the physical well-being of our community in ways that are safe, intergenerational and fun!
