Project Description
Mesa County Valley School district consists of 40 schools, ~22,000 students and a 45% free and reduced population. Our District Wellness Advisory Council (DWAC) was formed and began work in January of 2018. The DWAC group will review district wellness policies during the 2018-19SY culminating in revised wellness policies to the board by the end of the SY. Board policy work will utilize best practice districts in the state and evidence based WSCC model/methods.
