Increasing Physical Activity Through Community-Driven Infrastructure Projects on the High Line Canal

Increase active, healthy lifestyles with community-informed infrastructure that promotes physical activity on the High Line Canal in the north Aurora neighborhood of Laredo Highline. Guided by a community-driven plan, this is the first of eight Community Activation Zones in low-income and diverse communities where infrastructure can catalyze use of the Canal by creating opportunities for intergenerational physical activity and inclusive community spaces.
