Montbello Farm-School Collaborative Community Food Project

Create a comprehensive, community-based food system that meets the needs of low-income residents through increased food production and food distribution through a network of farm-based nonprofit organizations and neighborhood schools. The purpose of the project is to work with children and youth to grow food for their community, teach them where their food comes from and work with families to change nutritional habits and consumption patterns.
