Project Description
Propose a Youth Service Learning program for mostly Latino youth ages 13- 18, all from low-income immigrant families. This year-round program will engage youth in a variety of activities aimed at building social-emotional skills and improving resiliency. This work also aims to equip the involved teens to thrive-- in school, in their communities, among their peers, and within any work or volunteer commitment-- in spite of the many risk factors that impact their daily lives.
