Healthy Places Lamar
Located about 20 miles west of the Kansas border, the city of Lamar is the county seat of Prowers County, which has an overall population of about 12,500. In 2013, Lamar received a three-year $1 million dollar grant for infrastructure improvements and programs designed to create a healthier and more active community.
